Job Overview

The Plasma Operator is responsible for overseeing the plasma donation process, ensuring that all protocols and regulations are followed to maintain the safety and comfort of donors. In this hands-on role, you will interact with donors, collect plasma, and utilize advanced technology to process it for therapeutic use.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct donor screenings and interviews to determine eligibility.
• Operate and maintain plasma collection equipment and machinery.
• Monitor donor reactions during and after collection to ensure safety.
• Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols at all times.
• Document all donor data accurately for compliance purposes.
• Provide exceptional customer service to donors, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff members.

Qualifications

To excel in the role of Plasma Operator, we are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Certification as a phlebotomist or in blood banking is preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical, healthcare, or service-oriented environment is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
