Job Overview
The Data Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring accurate data collection, entry, and management across various research projects. This position is well-suited for individuals with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and manage data in electronic databases ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct data verification and validation processes to maintain data integrity.
- Assist researchers in preparing data reports and summaries as required.
- Collaborate with the research team to identify data collection needs and improvements.
- Maintain organized records and files related to all data management activities.
- Follow protocol for data safety and security in compliance with KEMRI standards.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on data management techniques.
Qualifications
To succeed in the KEMRI Data Clerk role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
- Experience with data entry and management systems is an advantage.
