Position Overview

As a Job Home Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients who require assistance with daily living activities. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance overall wellbeing.
Helping clients with mobility challenges, including transferring in and out of bed and using mobility aids.
Administering medications as prescribed and monitoring health conditions.
Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with grocery shopping.
Conducting light housekeeping tasks to promote a clean and safe environment.
Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in the client’s condition to supervisors and family members.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in home health aide training or personal care assistance is a plus.
Previous experience in home care, nursing home, or healthcare setting preferred.
Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
Ability to follow care plans and adhere to safety standards.
Reliable transportation and flexible schedule are essential.
CPR and First Aid certification are a plus.
