The Role

As a house decorator, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with clients to understand their vision and execute designs that bring that vision to life. You will be responsible for:

• Consulting with clients to discuss design preferences, budgets, and timelines.
• Creating mood boards and design proposals that visually represent design ideas.
• Coordinating with suppliers and contractors to source materials and ensure quality control.
• Overseeing the implementation of design projects and checking in regularly with clients.
• Staying updated on the latest trends in interior design and home décor.
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any client concerns or adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in interior decorating or design.
• Strong artistic ability with a keen eye for detail and color.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Adobe Creative Suite.
