Job Description

As a green house worker, you will be an integral part of our farming operations. Your primary responsibilities will include planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops in our state-of-the-art greenhouse facilities. You will work closely with our team to ensure the health and productivity of our plants while adhering to our sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare soil and plant beds according to crop specifications.
Assist in planting, transplanting, and harvesting various plants and vegetables.
Monitor and maintain optimal growing conditions, including temperature, light, and humidity levels.
Implement pest control measures using environmentally friendly practices.
Water and fertilize plants following detailed schedules and requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the greenhouse, including tools and equipment.
Perform regular inspections of plants to identify growth issues or diseases.
Assist with inventory management of supplies and materials.
Document daily activities and plant growth progress in logs.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about agriculture and sustainability, possess a strong work ethic, and enjoy working as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in horticulture is a plus.
Previous experience in greenhouse operations or horticulture is preferred but not essential.
Basic knowledge of plant care and agricultural practices.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical stamina and the capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
