Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Remote ETL Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL processes that facilitate the movement and transformation of data from multiple sources to destination systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses.
• Collaborate with data architects and data analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Optimize ETL processes to improve performance and reduce processing time.
• Monitor ETL jobs for execution success and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and compliance with best practices.
• Document ETL processes and data flow diagrams for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our ETL processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in ETL development using tools like Apache Nifi, Talend, Informatica, or Microsoft SSIS.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Ability to understand complex data models and perform data mapping.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in ETL development with a portfolio of successful projects.
• Experience with data quality tools and methodologies.
