Role Overview

The Clinical SAS Programmer will be responsible for the development, validation, and maintenance of SAS programs to support the organization’s clinical trials. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate SAS programs for statistical analysis and reporting of clinical trial data.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and company SOPs throughout the programming process.
• Create and maintain documentation for developed programs, including specifications and validation documentation.
• Support the data management team in preparing datasets and ensuring quality control of clinical data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the statistical analysis plan (SAP) and deliver high-quality statistical outputs.
• Provide programming support for ad-hoc analyses and presentations as required.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to team building initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SAS programmer in the clinical research industry, ideally with 2+ years in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SAS programming, particularly in clinical trial data analysis.
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes, data management, and statistical analysis methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a virtual environment.
